Zonguldak İnşaat Malzemeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. adıyla 24 Ocak 1974 tarihinde 250 ton/yıl kapasite ile yöre halkı ve yurt dışında çalışan işçilerimizin önemli katkılarıyla kurulan işletme 12 Eylül 1986 yılında ünvanını ÇAYTAŞ Ateş Tuğla Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. olarak değiştirmiş, gerekli teknolojik yatırımları da yaparak mevcut kapasitesini 4.200 ton/yıl’a çıkartmıştır.
