We want you to feel prepared for labour & birth and early parenting with our 4 hour birthing class. Combining our expertise in midwifery, pre-natal yoga & acupressure, we have designed the class to encourage you & your partner to work together & therefore enable you to cope during the process of labour & birth & parenthood. We are passionate about promoting an active yet calm labour & birth by providing you & your partner with the essential knowledge & techniques to equip you during an often exciting yet anxious time.

Kate, a Midwife & Vanessa, a Prenatal Yoga Instructor believe women who feel supported & encouraged have positive birth and motherhood experiences .

We do this by providing:

* Relaxation techniques, acupressure points, Rebozo techniques, yoga poses & vocal toning to assist & ease tension during labour.

* Induction of labour and Caesarean sections.

* Confidence to trust your maternal instinct when caring for your new baby.

* Confidence in your partner to support you through pregnancy, labour, birth and motherhood.

The birthing workshops are designed for those of you who want to learn the essentials without the waffle and endless DVDs that other childbirth courses may offer. Our unique birthing workshop is personalised, delivered to small groups and the information gained is practical and user friendly. The information you learn at our workshop will help reduce fear that is often experienced by birthing couples. Feedback from couples attending is always very positive and 100% of couples agree that the course has given them more confidence about labour and birth.

The cost of our group birthing workshop is $280 per couple.
