General information
This is the official Facebook page for Ghillie Dhu Ceilidh Band. We are based in Edinburgh, Scotland and provide a modern take on the traditional Scottish ceilidh.
Formed in 2007, we have experience playing in a number of countries, playing to a number of nationalities and to crowds of up to 700.
Our standard line-up consists of Fiddle, Guitar, Drums and Vocals. We also have an experienced dance-caller, who provides step-by-step instructions for each dance - so no one has an excuse not to get up and dance!
We hold a full PLI policy, all equipment is VAT tested and to a professional standard and all musicians hold bachelor degrees in music.
