Oxford Nightline

General information

Nightline is a completely independent listening, support and information service run for and by students. We don't claim to be able to solve problems, but we care about whatever is on your mind. We can listen and talk, and we won't moralise, criticise or judge you in any way.

This Facebook page is for everyone who supports the work of Oxford Nightline, and posts articles and links that might be of interest. We aim to post a balanced selection of links reflecting issues facing students and the work of other charities.

This page CANNOT provide any sort of personal support to anyone. It is not actively managed and to protect the anonymity of anyone wishing to contact us the message service and wall post options are disabled.

If you need to talk to someone, Nightline has trained volunteers available 8pm–8am every night during term time. Outside these times you can contact the Samaritans on 08457 90 90 90.

Telephone is the fastest way to get in touch. Call us on 01865 270270 (we can call you back), or free internally on 70270. Our volunteers can't see the number you are calling from, so it's completely confidential.

We also accept Skype calls from any student at 'oxfordnightline'. You don't have to add us as a contact in order to call, and all records of calls are deleted once you hang up.

You can also visit us at 16 Wellington Square (basement flat). We may ask to see your student card to ensure those visiting are current students, but you can cover your name if you wish.
