The Manchester Diabetes Centre was established in April 1988 to provide high quality care and education for people with diabetes throughout the North West. The centre is also very active in teaching, training and research.
The centre allows patients easy access to diabetes specialist nurses, dieticians, podiatrists and medical staff who offer help and support and promote self-management with the aim of reducing diabetes-related complications.
