Let's face it, the 1970s were awesome!

There was a war of culture across the Atlantic. The UK fires Led Zeppelin at America. The States hit back with Star Wars.

The legendary 'Rumble in the Jungle' saw Muhammad Ali punch his name into the sporting hall of fame… 'so mean he made medicine sick'. Punk was born. Bowie taught the world how to be androgynous. Thatcher reigned over everyone, while Morcambe and Wise brought us sunshine! And, men had hair that looked like military helmets... that's where Nick Bunn comes in.

Based in West London, Nick downed scissors in his Sheperds Bush salon and headed East to carve his own path. Croppers opened in Norwich, and that is why the 70's were awesome.

Nick's ability and friendly, positive attitude, quickly saw Croppers become the place to go for men's hair in Norwich.

40 years on and Norwich is abundant with salons and barbershops. You lucky people are spoilt for choice! But, Croppers thrive on competition and Nick's original, effective approach is still at the heart of our business today, keeping us as popular as ever.
