The major art gallery of Santorini optimally designed to host the works by the internationally acknowledged artists of the island: the painter Christoforos Asimis, the sculptor Eleni Kolaitou and the painter Katonas Asimis. The architectural jewel of the island especially designed to accommodate unique works of art and various indoor and outdoor cultural events, just one kilometer from the center of Fire on the road to Pyrgos.

The oldest art gallery of the island located at the center of Fira next to the Cathedral, founded in 1981 by the two leading artists in the recent art history of the island: the local painter Christoforos Asimis and the sculptor Eleni Kolaitou. Christoforos Asimis has been acclaimed internationally as the painter of Santorinian landscape. Eleni Kolaitou is one of the most significant contemporary sculptors of Greece. Christoforos Asimis was born in Santorini and is regarded as the painter that has been involved with the Santorinian landscape and light more than any other painter. His works can be found in private and public art collections internationally. He also painted the whole interior of the Fira Cathedral and other churches.

Ο Χριστόφορος Ασιμής έχει γεννηθεί στη Σαντορίνη και θεωρείται διεθνώς ως ο ζωγράφος που έχει ασχοληθεί περισσότερο από κάθε άλλον με το τοπίο και φως της Σαντορίνης. Έργα του βρίσκονται σε ιδιωτικές και δημόσιες συλλογές ανά τον κόσμο. Έχει επίσης αγιογραφήσει ολόκληρο τον Μητροπολιτικό ναό στα Φηρά καθώς και άλλους ναούς.

Eleni Kolaitou is a greek sculptor that lives and works in Athens and Santorini. The plasticity and symbolism of the human figure is expressed uniquely in her sculpture. The same plasticity is explored in her worldwide renowned unique collection of jewelry in gold and silver. Her artwork is part of private and public art collections worldwide.

Η Ελένη Κολαΐτου είναι ελληνίδα γλύπτρια που ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα και τη Σαντορίνη αποδίδοντας με μοναδικό τρόπο, μέσα από τη γλυπτική της, την πλαστικότητα και τον συμβολισμό της ανθρώπινης φιγούρας. Αυτή η πλαστικότητα αναδεικνύεται και στις μοναδικές της συνθέσεις στο κόσμημα από χρυσό και ασήμι. Έργα της βρίσκονται σε δημόσιες και ιδιωτικές συλλογές διεθνώς.

Katonas Asimis studied Fine Arts in London and Architecture in Bath UK. He has participated in various international art exhibitions including the Βiennials of Venice and Thessaloniki. In his painting he is dealing with the human figure as well as the rhythmology of the Santorinian landscape. His works are part of private and public art collections in Greece and abroad.

Ο Κάτωνας Ασιμής έχει σπουδάσει Καλές Τέχνες στο Λονδίνο και Αρχιτεκτονική στο Μπαθ της Αγγλίας. Έχει συμμετέχει σε διεθνείς εκθέσεις τέχνης μεταξύ των οποίων η Μπιενάλε της Βενετίας και της Θεσσαλονίκης. Στην ζωγραφική του ασχολείται με την ανθρώπινη φιγούρα και την ρυθμολογία του τοπίου της Σαντορίνης. Έργα του βρίσκονται σε ιδιωτικές και δημόσιες συλλογές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
